Illuminated Images by Daphni started in 2020 to share photographs capturing natural landscapes and nightscapes. 

 

Daphni Ames is the "eye" behind these photographs.  Her love of photography began with capturing the essence of the underwater world.  With the onset of the pandemic in 2020, scuba diving was out of the picture.  A need to continue to capture nature drove an interest in nightscape and landscape photography. 

 

Daphni's photography was featured in 2022 in the Art League of Santa Cruz' juried show titled "People and Places: Photography Reconnected."

In November 2023, Daphni was included in the National Parks at Night Alumni Spotlight page.  She has happily attended workshops provided by NPAM in Yosemite and Sedona.
